About the book
"The Petrograd Consignment" by Owen Sela is a historical spy thriller set during the turmoil of World War I and the 1917 Russian Revolution. The plot revolves around a clandestine operation organized by German Intelligence to secretly transport Vladimir Lenin across wartime Europe in a sealed train to Petrograd, aiming to spark revolution, overthrow the Russian government, and force Russia out of the war.
